The actual epidemic load in jails inside Lombardy (Italia) throughout the initial say with the COVID-19 pandemic: your transmitting and procedures associated with elimination inside detention amenities.
[This corrects the article DOI 10.1016/j.heliyon.2020.e05660.].The study aimed to determine the addition of green tea extract (GTE) in extender on the quality and DNA mutation of post-thawed Kacang buck sperm. The sperm DNA mutation was observed on nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide hydride (NADH) dehydrogenase 1 (ND1) of mitochondrial Deoxyribonucleic Acid (mtDNA). A pool of 12 Kacang buck ejaculates was diluted in skim milk-egg yolk extender contained 0, 0.05, 0.10, and 0.15 mg of GTE/100 mL for T0, T1, T2, and T3 group, respectively. Each of the aliquot groups was packaged in 0.25 mL French mini straw contained 60 million alive sperm and froze according to the protocol. The ND1 mtDNA amplification of samples was carried out Polymerase Chain Reaction machine, followed by DNA sequencing using the Sanger method. Meanwhile, the phylogenetic tree was constructed using the neighbor-joining (NJ) method with MEGA 7.0 software. The results showed that the T2 group maintained the highest quality for Kacang buck post-thawed semen. There was the highest percentages of sperms viability, motility, intact plasma membrane (IPM), the lowest of malondialdehyde (MDA) concentration, sperm DNA fragmentation (SDF), the total and types of ND1 mtDNA mutation frequency. The phylogenetic tree analysis revealed that the clade of the T2 group was most closely related to the sequence reference. However, there was no correlation between the semen quality parameters (sperm viability, motility, IPM, MDA concentration, and SDF) with ND1 mtDNA mutation of post-thawed Kacang buck semen. It could be concluded that GTE was useful as an antioxidant for Kacang buck semen extender for frozen sperm. The article addresses the question, which personality dimensions mostly contribute to the positive human functioning, especially to wellbeing and prosocial values. As we predicted, the three dimensions from the Big Five factors are mostly opposed to the negative personality characteristics known as Dark Triad (narcissism, Machiavellianism and psychopathy), namely emotional stability (low neuroticism), agreeableness and conscientiousness. The results demonstrated negative relationship between these personality dimensions (labeled Bright Triad) and Dark Triad. Both Dark and Bright Triad dimensions are substantially loaded with one single bipolar latent dimension, the Dark versus Bright Personality. The results also confirmed the substantial connections of the Bright Triad dimensions to the wellbeing and the values. The Bright Triad dimensions are positively associated with general life satisfaction and traditional, social, cognitive and democratic values and tend to be negatively associated with status or power values. On the other side, Dark Triad dimensions are positively related to the status values and tend to be negatively related to the prosocial values.Inert-particles spouted bed reactor (IPSBR) is characterized by intense mixing generated by the circular motion of the inert particles. The operating parameters play an important role in the performance of the IPSBR system, and therefore, parameter optimization is critical for the design and scale-up of this gas-liquid contact system. Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) provides detailed modeling of the system hydrodynamics, enabling the determination of the operating conditions that optimize the performance of this contact system. The present work optimizes the main IPSBR operating parameters, which include a feed-gas velocity in the range 0.5-1.5 m/s, orifice diameter in the range 0.001-0.005 m, gas head in the range 0.15-0.35 m, mixing-particle diameter in the range 0.009-0.0225 m, and mixing-particle to reactor volume fraction in the range 2.0-10.0 vol % (which represents 0.01-0.1 kg of mixing particles loading). The effects of these parameters on the average air velocity and average air volume fraction inixing-particle diameter of 0.0225 m, and mixing-particle loading of 0.02 kg, the minimum average air velocity and highest air volume fraction were observed throughout the reactor.Advances in research resulted in development of a simple, rapid and reliable multiplex PCR protocol for cytoplasm differentiation in potato. selleck chemicals llc Applying this rapid technique, we assessed the cytoplasm diversity in 57 Indian potato varieties, 15 popular exotic varieties and 47 biotic stress resistance breeding parental lines using five DNA based markers. Results revealed that T is the predominant cytoplasm type followed by D in Indian and exotic potato varieties as well as parental lines. The proportion of T and D type cytoplasm was 77.2% and 19.3% and 73.3% and 20.0% in Indian and exotic varieties, respectively. A and W type were found in one variety each, while M and P were missing in Indian varieties. All the popular Indian table potato varieties have tuberosum type cytoplasm with few exceptions of varieties bred for biotic stress resistance namely Kufri Himalini, Kufri Girdhari, carrying demissum cytoplasm. Opposite was true for Indian processing cultivars with the exception of Kufri Chipsona 4, which had T type cytoplasm. Evaluation of biotic stress resistance breeding parental lines showed increasing use of D (34.0%) and W (12.8%) cytoplasm in comparison to previously bred varieties. Although D type cytoplasm is associated with late blight resistance and male sterility, all Indian cultivars with D type cytoplasm are not resistant to late blight, nor they all are male sterile. Male fertile D type cytoplasm and the cytoplasms showing good interaction between cytoplasmic and nuclear gene for agronomic traits should be incorporated in the parental lines. Efforts must also be done to diversify the cytoplasm of cultivated potato with at least semi-cultivated cytoplasm types.Up now, the communication between brains of different humans or animals has been confirmed and confined by the sensory medium and motor facilities of body. Recently, direct brain-to-brain communication (DBBC) outside the conventional five senses has been verified between animals and humans. Nevertheless, no empirical studies or serious discussion have been performed to elucidate the mechanism behind this process. The validation of DBBC has been documented via recording similar pattern of action potentials occurring in the brain cortex of two animals. With regard to action potentials in brain neurons, the magnetic field resulting from the action potentials created in neurons is one of the tools where the brain of one animal can affect the brain of another. It has been shown that different animals, even humans, have the power to understand the magnetic field. Cryptochrome, which exists in the retina and in different regions of the brain, has been confirmed to be able to perceive magnetic fields and convert magnetic fields to action potentials. Recently, iron particles (Fe3O4) believed to be functioning as magnets have been found in various parts of the brain, and are postulated as magnetic field receptors. Newly developed supersensitive magnetic sensors made of iron magnets that can sense the brain's magnetic field have suggested the idea that these Fe3O4 particles or magnets may be capable of perceiving the brain's extremely weak magnetic field. The present study suggests that it is possible the extremely week magnetic field in one animal's brain to transmit vital and accurate information to another animal's brain. The application of biosolids improves soil nutrient availability and crop productivity; however, their application needs to be carefully evaluated so as to avoid the risk of contamination. In this study, a 12-month field experiment using a randomized block design with factorial arrangement was conducted to evaluate the effects of biosolids on the nitrogen and phosphorus contents of a sugarcane-cultivated inceptisol. Three types of dewatered biosolids were used anaerobically digested (B), anaerobically digested and thermally dried (BST), and anaerobically digested and lime-stabilized (BA) biosolids. The results showed that biosolid use increases soil nitrogen content by up to 37% of the total Kjeldahl nitrogen, 42% of NO3 -, 13% of NO2 -, and 32% of NH4 +. Biosolid treatments exceeded the phosphorus requirement for sugarcane cultivation by up to 277% for B, 170% for BST, and 368% for BA. The application of biosolids sufficient to meet crop nitrogen requirements significantly increased soil phosphorus content, suggesting an overdose and low crop response to the available phosphorus. The application of biosolids yielded results similar to those of mineral fertilizers, suggesting their potential use in agriculture.
Higher rates of maternal complications and deaths have been described in home births. However, few local studies have evaluated factors associated with home births in Peru. The study aims to determine the prevalence and factors associated with home birth in the Peruvian population.

A population-based analytical cross-sectional study was conducted using pooled data from the 2015-2017 Peruvian Demographic and Health Surveys. A logistic regression model was performed to calculate crude and adjusted odds ratios (aOR) for the association between sociodemographic and mother-related factors and home births.

Seven out of every 100 births were home births. Living in a rural area (aOR = 3.10; 95% CI 2.52-3.81), having a primary or secondary educational level, belonging to a medium or low wealth tertile, being from the rest of the Coast, Andean or Amazon regions, the second or greater number of birth order and considering the distance to the health center as problematic (aOR 1.32; 95% CI 1.17-1.48) were found to be associated with a higher probability of home births. Contrarily, being in the age groups of 25-34 and 35-39 years old, having a multiple pregnancy and giving birth to a medium (aOR 0.88; 95% CI 0.78-1.00) or large-sized newborn (aOR = 0.81; 95% CI 0.72-0.93) were associated with a lower probability of presenting home births.

Sociodemographic factors are associated with home births in Peru. Further study of these factors is required to develop strategies specific to the needs of the population of childbearing age.

The nursing process is a global concept, which forms the foundation of nursing as a profession. The use of the nursing process in most hospitals is lagging despite all the efforts of nursing professionals to implement it. The nursing process is dynamic and it is used in clinical practice worldwide to deliver quality-individualized care to patients.

This study assessed barriers to the implementation of the nursing process among nurses working at South Gondar Zone Governmental Hospitals, North Central Ethiopia, 2019.

Institutional based cross-sectional study was carried out. By using Census about N = 249 nurses were recruited. Data was collected through self-administered questionnaires. The data were entered into Epi data version 3.1 and analyzed using statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) version 23.0. Descriptive statistics such as measurements of central tendency and inferential statistics multiple logistic regression, 95% CI, and p-value ≤ 0.05 was used. The study was approved by Debre Tabor University college of health sciences ethics and research committee.
