she was released Thursday afternoon. end result - she had 2 stints inserted into 2 separate aortic arteries to help improve blood flow. She's doing better, still a little weak. I flew there Friday evening and stayed until Sunday. Now that she's only 90 min from LA by plane, I'll be able to visit more often (didn't even have to take vacation HA!) if you want to call her, her home phone at Mel's house is 480-838-3711. I think Patti will be flying out to visit her over Easter weekend.

Thanks for all the thoughts and well-wishes. Just hope she can stay out of that hospital now for a few years!

We're doing fine. The dogs are definitely slowing down. Kinjou (our male Shiba Inu) may have cancer. We'll know on Friday. He's 15 1/2, so that's a long life for their breed. Kyoto (our female Shiba) is about 70% blind, but she still manages to get around. Her back legs give out quickly so she doesn't do long walks anymore, just down to the back yard for her potty time and that's about it, other than navigating the staircase in our house.
