5. Orta kesimleri Ladin ve Göknar ormanları ile kaplıyken , en yüksek kesimleri buzullar ile kaplıdır.
6. Dağın yüksek kesimlerinde 13 tane buzul göl bulunur.
7. Bunlardan en büyüğü "Deniz gölü" olup çapı 300 metredir.
8. Dağın en yüksek kesiminde kuzeye doğru uzanan 3 buzul vadi yer alır.
9. Kaçkar dağları 430 çeşit bitki örtüsüne sahiptir.
10. Kaçkar dağları "Dünyada korunması gereken 200 bölge"den birisidir.
