As a black conservative, let me explain somethings from my point of view. Most of those organizations are simply for representational purposes, and were made when representation was unequal completely. Some help, others don't and (BET is just poison btw) but do they actually give some blacks a extra chance? Yes to those that qualify etc.  Which can be few and those that do aren't what some may call "statistics." Many people who are  successful dont even use those orgs etc.  And I believe that white privlege isnt real. Many whites happen to be monetarily privileged which is a good thing. Whether its due to family businesses, generational stability, even mental more so than others due to an much privileged  road but much of the latter was built when racism, laws and such was common. In contrast to an AA's which family didn't have an opportunity to provide stability a hundred years ago towards generations unless they were extremely brilliant, brave and blessed. Privilege has gotten a bad rap imo.  To be privileged is the American dream. When you are a person of color whom ancestors didnt have generational wealth or stability, to get a head is hard due to actual events and real abuses made by government that happened. The media aswell, It causes issues that many dont even comprehend. One thing I believe is psychologically it effects people for generations, abuse cycle starts, MK ultra like control of people, self hatred (the use of nigga)and the media to make a mindstate of "I cant" and people believe it. Apathy is a huge problem. Many blacks who are alive today saw their own kind get killed abused, used, killed and such with no justice done. How would one person turn out? Adding financial issues, the world is actually against you. This has nothing to do with slavery. Damaged people damage people stay damaged with no actual real fixes. Money doesn't cure core issues or psychological ones. Neither does representation, it helps but it does not outweigh what some people are encapsulated with. And this mindset has been passed along just like any abuse cycle.
