Main Idea Of Story: Fossils help us learn and experience new things that we can share with the world.
Main Idea 2: Fossils help you learn what animals lived back then by looking at the bones. Are unicorns real? Maybe!
Story 2: Dan loves surfing. He wishes he could be like the people he sees on TV. His dad is a famous surfer. He wants to become just like him when he grows up!
Main Idea: Dan wants to become a famous surfer when he grows up just like his dad.
There is no 2nd main idea in this story.
Story 3: Adrianna wants to become rich. She enters a contest but it turns out that when she gave them her card number, it was a trick! She had learned her lesson, and didn't ever trust someone again. After all, why would someone offer you 1 million dollars? That's impossible!
Main Idea: Adrianna wants to become rich but then she realizes that she would have to become rich herself instead of asking for others to help.
There is no Main Idea 2.
Now lets start doing themes.
Theme: The theme of a story is the lesson inside.
Mya loves cooking. She didn't listen to her mom when she said she was too little to start cooking yet. SHe started cooking and burned herself. She regretted it.
Theme: Always listen to your parents.
