Computers evolve as time flies by, from the original Apple I to today's Mac Pro. As time passes, computers age and slow down much like humans.

4 years ago I was in 4th grade, 9 years old, and I had wanted a computer for a long time. My skills trainer suggested I put up a fundraiser and right when I got home, I did, and it worked. I was able to build my first computer all by my self at the young age of 9.

The thing was, I simply did not put enough research into choosing the parts of the computer. I probably wasn't as smart as I am now in pc parts and computer technology. As a result, the computer is slow as a sloth.

Fast forward to now and I can't even use that computer. I've been looking to upgrade it for years, but unfortunately my mom can't afford to help me build a new one. So I thought to myself, ¨what can I do to get enough money?¨ And then I remembered the idea that my great skills trainer suggested 4 years ago, which brings me here.

I'm sure I'm not alone and many other kids around the world want the same, so I thought about how I could give back to the community. If people are giving their time and money to me, I should also make an effort to help others in return. I want to help a child that comes from a low-income family like mine and together we can build computers using the money from this fundraiser and my technical know-how ? The budget includes the cost parts to build two computers. One for me, and the other for my new friend, Micah.

So half of the money will go to Micah, who has always wanted to build his own computer, but couldn't due to lack of skills and couldn't afford as he is a kid like me.
