Basically a valve is named in the following order, 1. No. of ports, 2. No. of positions, 3. Mode of actuation, 4. Mode of reset
Moisture in the air must be removed because it corrodes the equipments, emulsion will be formed
To remove moisture-an after cooler is provided in the compressor- a filter is provided before the regulator of the system
Pressure Regulator-Function:To maintain a steady outlet pressure, invariable of the fluctuating inlet pressure
Lubricator-Function:Lubricators are used to feed lubricants to the pneumatic equipments.
