Daha küçükken deha olduğunu ortaya koyan Pascal 19 Haziran 1623’te dünyaya gelmiştir ve 19 Ağustos 1662’de hayatını kaybetmiştir. Herhangi bir geometri eğitimi olmamasına rağmen daha 12 yaşında eşkenar üçgenler ve çemberler çizmiş ve üçgenin iç açılarının toplamda iki dik açıya denk olduğunu kendisi keşfetmiştir. 19 yaşına geldiğinde aritmetik hesaplamaları yapan bir hesap makinesi keşfetmiştir. sadece kuramsal bilim dallarında değil deneysel ve uygulamalı bilimlerde de kabiliyetini ortaya koymuştur. Toricelli’nin atmosferin basıncıyla ilgili deneyinde 23 yaşında gözden geçirmiş ve yükseklere çıkıldığında atmosfer basıncının azaldığı keşfetmiştir. Bir gece diş yakınmalarından dolayı uyuyamayıp rulet ve sikloidle ilgili fikirler bulmuştur. Sikloid eğrisinin niteliklerini bulmuştur. Küçük yaşlarda yaşına göre büyük projelere imza atmıştır. Matematiğin gelişiminde de önemli icatları vardır. Blaise Pascal 20 yaşlarında felsefe ve dine çok fazla ilgi göstermiştir. 39 yaşında ise hayatını kaybetmiştir.
