We have started planning for the trip one month back by booking train tickets early so that all the tickets get confirmed in a single coach.
on the day of the trip, we have celebrated one of our friends birthday party on the railway station platform where he cut the cake and distributed candies to all.
Once we got on the train, everyone formed their own groups and entered into the festive mood by playing games, singing, dancing and some people got relaxed by reading books.
It was a long journey of about 22 hours, which got passed without knowing as the journey was full of fun.
Once we got to the destination, everyone checked into the hotel rooms which were pre-booked and relaxed for the night before our actual sight-seeing began the next day.
The next morning we were picked up by the local minibusses and vans and got us to the mountain peaks of the hill station that we were visiting.
From atop the hill station, we have enjoyed the beautiful scenic locations and it was exhilarating to be atop the mountains and the lush green environment free of pollution.
Having spent the entire day over the top of the hill, we have returned to the city down the cliff for recreational activities and shopping.
Overnight, we got to taste the local cuisine from the restaurant in the hostel that we were staying and danced on the dance floor that was exclusively arranged for us by the hotel management. Have enjoyed the complimentary drinks, dancing and got exhausted after which everyone checked into their respective rooms and had a comfortable sleep in the
cozy rooms of the hotel.
We woke up to the bright sunlight the next morning and quickly grabbed the complimentary breakfast and coffee before checking out from the hotel and started to the next place of our trip.
It was a couple of hours drive from the hotel and we have reached our planned destination by afternoon and had lunch over there.
