I’ve had the unique and unfortunate opportunity this week to speak with survivors of gun violence across the United States. From Pulse, to Vegas, to Parkland. Every single one of them has explicitly expressed to me one thing: hope. I have no idea what will happen following this march, but for the first time in a long time, I too am hopeful.

NYC friends, I'm working with a group of high school, college, and graduate students and national organizations to organize the NYC March for Our Lives to fight gun violence. I invited many of you to the event earlier but we've since moved to a new event page, which I've linked below. I ask you to please come out and march with us. If you're tired of hearing about a new mass shooting every other week, please march. If you think it's unacceptable that kids get shot on the street every day, please march. This is a moment in history when it seems like real action on gun violence is possible. Please be a part of this moment and march with us
