Mr. Manoj Shakya is an Assistant Professor in the department of computer science and engineering at Kathmandu University. He has been working as an academician since 2001. He received Chinese Government Scholarship and completed his masters from Hunan University, China in 2006. His areas of research include ICT in Education, Educational Technology, Learning Analytics. He has been working in the field of emerging technologies like “use of ICT in Education” since 2012. He is also a former coordinator of Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Kathmandu University. He has received various grants from University Grants Commission, Nepal to organize various training and workshops related to the research process. He has also received a research grant from Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) in 2017. He is also a grant recipient from Digital Learning for Development Network (DL4D). He is currently a member of organizations like Information Technology Professional Forum (ITPF), and Nepal Research and Education Network (NREN).
