Saga pohon (Adenanthera pavonina) adalah pohon yang buahnya menyerupai petai (tipe polong) dengan bijinya kecil berwarna merah. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Asia Selatan namun sekarang telah tersebar pantropis.
Saga pohon umum dipakai sebagai pohon peneduh di jalan-jalan besar. Tumbuhan ini juga mudah ditemui di pantai. Daunnya menyirip ganda, seperti kebanyakan anggota suku polong-polongan lainnya.
Dahulu biji saga dipakai sebagai penimbang emas karena beratnya yang selalu konstan. Daunnya dapat dimakan dan mengandung alkaloid yang berkhasiat bagi penyembuhan reumatik. Bijinya mengandung asam lemak sehingga dapat menjadi sumber energi alternatif (biodiesel). Kayunya keras sehingga banyak dipakai sebagai bahan bangunan serta mebel.
Ungkapan "matanya merah seperti biji saga" dikatakan kepada orang yang sangat marah sehingga matanya sangat merah.
