•Click on Add link inorder to add additional users, groups or roles to the list if they are not already present.
To set permissions for all users use the built-in Everyone group from the Cognos Namespace and provide at least read, traverse and execute permissions.
•Make sure that for Datasource, Connection and signon the checkbox against Disable this Entry is not selected under Genaral tab.
•Click on Ok to return to the Permission tab.
•If issue is still not resolved, go to Cognos Administration, select Security tab and click on User, Groups and Roles.
•Click Set Properties for cognos and go to Permissions.
•Provide the read, traverse and execute permission for the affected user, role or group.
•Click on Apply and Save the changes.
• Issue should be resolved.
