Chapter 1
THE JOURNEY BEGINS

All through out the caves in Waterfall, the sounds of an intense battle rang out.
Undyne had her game face on, her armor shined in the light of the crystals on the wall,while the force of the river behind her whips at her hair.
I would have been starstruck by her awesomeness, if I didn’t have a bunch of spears pointed at me.
“I’ll ask you one last time Papyrus.”, she said with a proud laugh.“Why go to all this trouble? He eats nothing but junk, lays around all day and never picks up after himself! In fact, since he’s been gone your house is the cleanest it's ever been!" "Why don't you just leave him to the humans? It’d be a lot easier!”
She launched another spear ,which I only had a split second to deflect with my magical bone shield.
“You're right.”, I said.



I was covered in sweat and shaking with exhaustion, but my sword burned with righteous fury, as orange as my soul.
“He might be lazy, annoying and smell kind of weird, but his jokes are actually funny sometimes and he’s also the second coolest brother in the world!” -I’m the first coolest, by the way-, I thought to myself.
I lowered my shield and readied my sword again. “I will get him back no matter what!”



Undyne looked like she was about to strike again, but instead she made her spears vanish, and she held out her hand to me. “You are ready. There Is nothing more I can teach you.”
I, also, dropped my weapon, stunned at her action.
That was it? Undyne has been training me for weeks, ever since Sans got captured by the Super Powerful Antagonist Group of Human Elites, that take and imprison monsters.
Now, with those words these long days are suddenly over and I think she realises this to.
She suddenly turns away from me, and instead, turns to face the water, but I cant leave to fight my ultimate nemesis just yet.



“Thank you for everything Undyne.” I called to her. “You've given me a great power.”
“I didn't do anything.”, Undyne replied,“The power was in you all along Papyrus, you just needed to realize it. Now, go be the hero I know you are!”
“But what about you? What will you do now?" I ask her.
For a moment she doesn't say anything, while the water surges up before her, she creates an energy spear from thin air and pierces the roaring cascade.
Then she turns to me,her fangs glittering ,with the water spray, like her scales, before saying,
“I’m gonna make out with my hot girlfriend!"
