Moving Inactive Castles

There are 2 ways to move an inactive Castle if it's sitting in your way and the owner is inactive or can't/won't move it.

METHOD 1: Attacking It
METHOD 2:. Using a Spell

--------------------------
METHOD 1: Attacking It
Basic principle - simply keep attacking the castle until its Wall Defence reaches 0. When this happens, the castle will do a random teleport and disappear.
HOWEVER, there is a specific formula to the wall defence points loss. You can use this formula to predict how many attacks it will take, and how long before the wall falls, to get rid of the castle in the most efficient way. While this is not explained clearly in the game Help file anywhere, the info below comes from a lot of research and graphing out numbers after experimenting on numerous inactive castles.
For castles within your Fortress Territory, each defeat takes approx 150 wall points off, and each set of 150 points ticks down steadily over the course of 30 min. The points and time stack with multiple attacks. So for example, if you attack it 3 times quickly, over the next hour and a half it will lose approx 450 wall points.
Most inactive castles start with about 8000-11000 wall points, so this means that for your average 9000-point castle, you will need to make about 60 attacks on it (in order to stack up sufficient points) and then patiently wait for 30 hours for the walls to finish falling.

WHAT TO DO:
Send a scout, note the current Wall Points (x), then use these 2 formulas:
Number of attacks required = x / 150.
Number of hours until it falls = x / 300.
Then simply keep attacking over and over until you've reached more than the required attack tally, go get yourself a drink, put your feet up, and wait for it to disappear.

MYTH: "Attacking like crazy for 30 min solid accelerates the damage done and reduces the time until it falls" - False, this doesn't make a difference one way or the other. Each defeat is still worth the same amount of damage and time. Feel free to attack it like crazy if you like, as you'll be getting your defeat tally up faster so then you can go and get that drink, but it won't actually make the walls fall any quicker.
MYTH: "Attack once then leave it to burn by itself for 30 min for better results" or "Attacking more than once per half hour has no effect" - False, the defeats stack. if you hit it once, it will lose about 150 points over 30 min then it will stop. if you hit it twice quickly, it will lose about 300 points over the next hour then stop. if you attack it 3 times quickly, it will lose about 450 points over the next hour and a half then stop. And so on.
MYTH: "Sending a stronger attack force does more damage" - False, attack force is irrelevant, as long as you defeat it. Most inactives have no troops left, so using pretty much any force at all will defeat them. It's approx 150 points per defeat. So if you have a choice of sending 3 small marches at once, or 1 big one, send 3 small ones. 3 small marches = 450 points total. 1 big march = 150 points total.

TIPS:
· If you've worked out that you have (for example) 60 attacks to do, send 20 batches of 3 small marches each - way faster than 60 individual big attacks, and has the same effect with much less effort and time.
· Use just cavalry if you can - it's quickest to get there and back. No need to send your Dragon.
· Get lots of members to help. The more people helping to attack it, the sooner you'll reach the required defeat tally. Just try to keep a rough count of how many attacks it's getting, so you know when it's enough and you can stop and go get that drink :)

NOTE: For castles outside of your Fortress Territory, the wall points loss is 20% less as you don't get the fortress bonus on those.

--------------------------
METHOD 2: Using a Spell

An "Enemy Eviction" spell exists, which will instantly destroy all wall defence on a Castle, causing it to random teleport. Usually this is only to be used in emergencies, as it uses valuable Spell Points and Elixir. It must be cast by an R4 or higher. It can be used as an emergency defence mechanism against an invading Castle to damage their walls and eject them, or to move an inactive castle quickly if you need the space ASAP.
