Dan.

D-*Sitting in a chair, in the middle of the stage.*
D-"They say he's no good for me."
*Shakes his head*
Betty, an old woman of 80, at the side of the stage .
B-"He is no good." *Walks around with a pile of laundry in her hands*
b-"A wolf in sheep's clothing!"
*She notices dan looking down at his lap and walks over.*
b- "Why can't you see..." *Goes to touch him, but he flinches away*
b-"That." d- "That?" b-"Yes that! Look at you, you're like a child, scared of your own friend helping you!" *Shaking her head, she storms off, leaving dan alone once more.*
d-"That don't understand him...Well, not like I do. You see, I do understand him. Him...His want's and his n-"
Anna walks in, holding two pints, as if they were at a bar.
A-"Need you must talk about him again?"
She places a drink on the table in front of him.
a-"After all that he's done to you, you still want to talk about him?"
D looks down again at his lap, as if being scolded by someone he views as a motherly figure.
A-"We all care about you, why can't you see that?...Why can't you leave him?"
Anna storms off, leaving him alone again, with a drink on the table, and dirty clothing on the floor.
d-"I remember when I first met him. It was a friday night, the music was loud and the attmosphere was intoxicating...and he..." D smirks and stands up, dancing by himself.
"He gluided across the floor, as if he was a duck to water, and soon enougth, we were both tangled together like l-"
A young man walks in, looking scared.
"L-love?...Are you awake?" D stops his movements, before slowly turning around. "...What did I say about coming down without being told to?" The man freezes up, shaking his head. "I-i'm sorry , I was just worried about yo-!" "Get back up there! Before they see you!"
In tears, the other runs away, leaving D alone for the final time.
D-"I'm not 'stuck' in a loop with a monster, oh no." He looks to the audience. "I'm happily in love, with my amazing fiance, and like any couple we fight, but I know he won't leave, because I'll never leave him."
Slowly, D walks off stage, leaving the scene of the chair, the wilting roses in a vase, the half empty bears, and the stained clothing all over the floor.
