Alice and Peter Wright became orphans at a very young age.
After their mother had passed, they were taken to a poor orphanage where they would spend their days together.
Never leaving each others side, they would make the most of their horrible situation.
The people that ran the orphanage would treat the children horribly and never had enough food or clothes to suit every child.
When she turned 8, Alice was already preparing their escape, the constant harassment and lack of food and entertainment led Alice into a darker depression. She would spend most of her days in the orphanage sharpening the cutlery for picking locks and stealing the spare scraps of clothing for escape ropes.
Peter became very worried about his older sister, but every night, Alice promised them their freedom from the living hell.
On the eve of Peter's 7th birthday, Alice wanted them to finally escape, giving Peter his freedom as his birthday wish.
Alice had finally stashed away enough picks and had stolen a large kitchen knife in case they were caught.
After dark they managed to break free from their cell like room, weaving through the hallways like two mice, they managed to finally escape.

Free and into the darkness, the two of them tried to seek shelter elsewhere.
While walking through an alleyway, a dark figure approached them. Alice threw Peter behind her, baring her knife at the drunk Orc. Lunging forward at the children, The Orc knocked the knife from Alice's hands and grabbed Peter, exposing a dagger to his throat. The Orc threatened to kill Peter if they did not give him Money or Alcohol. Having neither of which he wanted, Alice begged the Orc to let them go. Enraged with her answer, the Orc thrusted his long dagger into Peter's chest. Alice picked up the kitchen knife and stuck it deep into the Orc's back. He began to laugh as he knocked Alice to the ground, scratching her face with his long, sharp nails.
As he went to attack her, Alice pulled out 2 sharp metal picks from her pocket and pushed them into either side of the Orc's throat, killing him slowly as his body fell on top of hers. Alice used the last of her strength to shake off the Orc and leave him to bleed out. Bloodied and sore she held Peter until the sun rose.


Still dizzy and sick from the grief of her brother's death, Alice carried Peter's body to a nearby river where she said a prayer before saying goodbye. Alice made a promise to Peter that she would rid the world of evil people, taking them all on herself.
While still saying her goodbyes, a male Dragonborn came across Alice and began to worry about her being alone.
Taking her in as his own, Beltrin brought Alice to his home. He gave her food and dressed her wound which would later scar.Still distraught over her brother's passing, she told Beltrin about Peter and her plans to kill every evil doer.
Beltrin promised to train her, only if she used her abilities for good.

When Alice was 16, she was already helping to capture and kill criminals and theives.
Going by her stage name 'Noctis', she began to enjoy the hunt and trained to be more of an assassin under Beltrin's guidance. Continuing to follow Beltrin's rule of only killing the bad, she was soon receiving requests of assassinations in exchange for coin.
Assassinating thieves and murderes, she kept her promise to Beltrin and Peter, even donating coin she made back to better orphanages and the homeless.

Because Noctis found it difficult to trust people, she spent most of her spare time building weapons with Beltrin and befriending animals.
Noctis became friends with a one legged raven that she named Umbra. Umbra even began to help Noctis on her assassinations, bringing her small daggers and keeping a look out for danger.

In order to banish all evil, Noctis wanted to leave her home town and bring hope to others.
Saying a final goodbye to Beltrin, she packed up her belongings and set out on her journey to make Peter proud.
