_2.1_ omdat je veel meer van alles nodig hebt zoals huizen en geld
_3_ er moest meer geld komen dus moest de belasting omhoog maar de mensen konden de belasting niet betale _3_ n dus vluchten ze naar het platte land zodat ze geen belasting hoefden te betalen

in het jaar 395 was het rijk was zo moeilijk te besturen dat ze het hele grote rijk in 2en splitsten
Oost romeins= va rond 200 tot 1453
West romeins= was al weg in 476! Omdat
het werd steeds onveiliger, de mensen vluchten naar het platte land, vanuit azie komt een stam (de hunnen) en die hunnen waren heel geweldadig en breidde hun gebied uit en breidde uit richting europa. de mensen vluchtten voor de hunnen uit, ze zochten bescherming in het romeinse rijk. een volksverhuizing, de romeinen konden de mensen niet zo goed tegenhouden want ze hadden niet zo'n goede bescherming meer dus ze gingen de verdeel er heers techniek weer toepassen ze zeiden: jullie mogen hier binnenkomen maar dan moeten jullie de grens gaan verdedigen en ze vochtten tegen andere germanen maar deden dat niet omdat ze eigenlijk niet tegen net zo'n groep als hun wouden vechten dus het mislukte en het romeinse rijk eindigd doordat de laatste koning word afgezet (van zijn troon gestoten) en de middeleeuwen beginnen

het oost romeinse rijk bleef bestaan tot 1453!

het oost romeinse rijk was zo lang blijven bestaan omdat het meer geld had en veel vruchtbaar land.
