Amplitude: The Amplitude is the absolute value of a. It represents the range of the graph. Add a to the top of the graph and subtract it from the bottom of the graph. If the amplitude is 3, then the graph will have points, (0,3). (x,0). (x,-3), (x,0). (x,3). If the amplitude is greater than 1 it is a vertical stretch of the graph and if it is less than one it is called a vertical shrink,
Period: The period is the distance (0,2π/b). Make sure to factor to get b. The period represents the distance between each of the four points on the graph. If the b is smaller than 1, then the period will be greater and the fourth point will extend beyond 2π. If b is greater than 1, the period will be (1/2)π. The fourth point will extend to 2π. If b is greater than 1, then the period will be smaller and the fourth point will extend to a point smaller than 2π.
Vert: If there is a number in the front or back it is how many up or down.
Phase: If the number in the parentheses is positive you shift left that much for your first point, if it is negative you shift right that much for your first point.
Inc: It is 2π/the period
