Me and my mom would always go to the subway to move around New York, its hard to move from place to place without being late because of traffic,my mom use to say never ever take a cab if your running late. I remember going down to the sub like it was today, the scent of different people, the dust that would move when you would walk, the subway is never ever still, everyone is always in a hurry(my mom calls the subway the hurry train) I wish "AHOO
AH-AH-AHOO"is there a cat down here my mom" asked I reply with a simple "I don't know". There it was waging its long lush tail getting its hair every where!,making noise, acting as if its begging for food, it was a cat, I looked at my mom she scowled the cat away then I felt bad for the thing "poor cat" I murmured "its okay, it looks like its been a stray for all its life" she said. I stare at it while we went away we locked eyes. And I asked my mom about how she felt about a new cat and she gazed at me "why would you ask such a question?" she said "I knew I should of PULL! you out of the that subway when I had the chance!"she sighs"look we can't have a cat or dog or any animal for that matter all we need is each other" as she looked in my eyes and smiled. We got off and bought some food we brought the food back to the train as soon as we got off the cat stroked my leg my mom didn't seem to mind, it followed us home to the doorstep which wasn't far at all, my mom said he could come in(it was cold out), BUT just for the night, but I think it-will-grow on mom,two days came and the cat was gone I rushed over to my mom. "Mom,mom,mom" "huh?" "wheres the cat?" "oh right,well a person came knocking at the door and they said the saw the cat come home with us,and they wanted him back" "WHAT!?! wha- ,how, when-, mom that cat was in the subway everyday,this is New York!, who has not used the subway"
"I don't know" I rushed back to my room to grab my coat,hat and shoes."bye" I yelled I went down to the nearest subway and found myself running to every place I would find her at. My mom ran down the sub stairs still getting her shoes on "Deania, what are you doing here? GET BACK IN THE HOUSE,NOW" I sighed while reaching for my hat to pull it off.I go back to the house to sit in my room til' I feel like getting out.I can here a small peek out of my window I opened the window to find the cat in sub I sneak out to get the cat when I walk over to get her, she was curled up in a musty blanket with 5 other kittens, I began to cry, I slowly grabbed the babies and the cat too. A month later and we ended up keeping the cat, we also named her Marisa and her kittens,Pablo,Nancy,Sarah,Timmy and Adrian. THE END
