Click here ...Karen Ramirez was crowned Miss Fort Worth Latina 2016 on June 12th. Former Miss Teen Dallas Latina 2014.This 19-year-old originally from Chihuahua, Mexico, has resided in Texas for the past sixteen years.  Karen graduated last June from Sam Houston High School in Arlington, TX.Continuing her education, she is currently studying Business Administration and Accounting. She plans to graduate from The University of North Texas in Denton in the year 2020. She is fluent in both the English and Spanish languages and active in several volunteer organizations. Her platform is to educate the community on the importance of bullying awareness. Karen works at a Home Health and Hospice Agency assisting the elderly and people with disabilities. With the help of her amazing family she brings culture and values into every new venture she takes on. Karen has been in the pageant industry for 3 years therefore she takes her responsibility of a role model to heart and believes these values should be present at all times even when not wearing the crown.
