Times pass as do faces, faces that I can't remember. Faces that bother me, faces that haunt me. Why can't I remember them, when can I see them? People that want me, why can't I be like you and her, her and he. But, instead, I fall different, down a different whole,stories untold. Please hold, while I retrace my steps down a different path.Why can't I do the math? Nothing makes sense, nothing adds up.I'm drinking from the wrong cup.So, why can't these faces phase me, as the silence hates me? The nightmares haunt me, the daydreams taunt me. No peace, no sleep, why do people say"Sleep is for the weak?"Does this mean I am weak, that I can't seek I can't find the light hidden in me, the star that awaits for the night. But, the night is too dark, the night is too cold, it's too bold, this is getting old!Time is being wasted, faces are becoming twisted.Lately, things are overrated, and it would be appreciated if someone were to stop and chat, explain the game. Explain these many names, coming and going. My mind is clustered, as if it were snowing. I keep on walking, unknowing. Where the hell am I going?!Wake up, wake me up, please don't go. I only know what I know, not much, not lots. The thoughts, oh why won't they stop. I know I want to wake up, but what's worse? Living a never ending nightmare, or walking aware, knowing everything is just a dream, a daydream, a fast stream.Nightmares and reality, both the same. Just one is more Lame, the other more Tame. Both ending abruptly, yet seemingly never slowing. I continue on, never bowing. People ask me where I'm going, never knowing. I don't care, my thoughts are scared, but for you I'll share, my never ending pains. Share what's in my brain, all of the blood stains. What stays chained, what I refrain.I ponder of something terrifying, something brain denying. Thoughts of darkness clogging, thoughts of shining light refraining. What am I seeing, what am I dreaming? Please help me, god, don't make me see these things alone. Come on, dude, throw me a bone. Nightmares never ending, always lurking. Fast asleep yet always jerking, happily awake yet still dreaming.
