Loki (Nicolas) adalah seorang pangeran di Asgard, God of Mischief dan juga perebut tahta di Asgard. Dia adalah saudara angkat sekaligus musuh dari Thor. Odin yang merupakan ayah kandung Thor mengangkat dirinya sebagai anak dikarenakan sesuatu. Ayah kandungnya adalah Frost Giant, tetapi karena dia dianggap cacat, dia pun dibuang.
Dia memiliki keinginan untuk mencuri Mjolnir dari genggaman Thor, dikarenakan iri akan kedudukan yang dimiliki oleh saudara angkatnya itu. Dan demi menarik perhatian Thor, dia menciptakan berbagai masalah agar mendapatkan Mjolnir lebih mudah.
