Evolution is a theory set by Charles Darwin in a book he wrote. He titled it Natural Selection and I already described it above. Have you read any of that book? It is very illuminating. Do you know what it means to study something empirically? The Pre-Copernican theory for astronomy was made empirically, and it was found to be incorrect. The theory of IQ is an arbitrary set of questions, which can be practiced by anyone over time. Your scores can change as you study the sets of problems and you practice more and more. That is not compatible with a notion of 'inherent' intelligence. Also, and more important imo, the questions are arbitrary and deal only with silly math problems. Human intelligence is far more diverse than statistics and pattern recognition. One very direct and stunning example is motherhood. What is it to be a good mother? Or vise-verse? How can we quantify that? I don't think you can.... certainly not in the sense that it would make the list of questions on an 'IQ test'. You might think motherhood has nothing to do with intelligence but I doubt that very much, I'd wager that most women spend copious amounts of time considering how to be a better mother, and some fare better than others. I think Darwin's theory of evolution would no doubt have something to say about that too...
