I thought of you today, just like I do everyday. However, something was different. I think I knew more than ever that you saved my life. That's the truth, without any exaggeration. When you came into my life, I was an absolute mess and was falling apart more and more daily. It's not like its romantic to be messy, but somehow it was. I didn't want to be alive, and I hadn't for a long time. When I was young everyone had something that they wanted to be when they grew up. Me, well I wasn't even sure if I wanted to still be alive. I really didn't think I'd make it to where I am today, but I have. Purely because of you. Not only did you stop me from wanting to cut my life short, but you actually made me want to stay alive. As we got closer to each other I learnt what it felt like to be alive, not just surviving. I wasn't even afraid that I'd lose it, the only thing that I was scared to lose was you, but I didn't really feel like that was gonna happen and so I buried that in the back of my brain. Thank you for showing me what life can really be when you let yourself live it, and thank you for living it with me.
