I used to go on one to seven day streaks before relapsing in what seemed like an endless cycle. I had never reached more than 15 days in one streak. Quitting is a very hard thing to do. You have to want it, you have to realize that fapping has never helped anybody. You've never relapsed and felt good about it, you've never looked at the mirror after fapping and felt good about yourself. However, quitting has helped so many people. Here were some of the tips that has got me to where I am today. Every time I had an urge, I would immediately jump to this subreddit for help. This would take my mind off of fapping and focus my attention on not fapping. This helped me tremendously. When I couldn't reach this sub, I would do anything productive to take my mind off of it. I used to go the gym, or would try and cook a new food. Anything that can take your mind off of fapping will help. After a couple days you can already feel slight benefits. They're small but noticeable. Remind yourself of those benefits. Soon, more and more benefits will come and the easier it will become to quit. You should know that the hardest times are during the first week. Once you can reach eight days, it becomes easier. I would remind myself this of this. It made it easier to reach higher streaks. And the higher the steaks I'd get, the more the benefits i would receive. This makes it even easier. Lastly, know how supportive this sub reddit is. If you ever need help, reach out on NoFap and there is always somebody there to support you. Knowing that you have help makes quitting much easier. Thank you NoFap, you have made me the person I've always wanted to become.
