"Türkleri birkaç kez ikna etmeye çalıştık ve sonunda ısrarlı taleplerimiz karşısında Şemdinli'ye dönmemizi kabul ettiler.Fakat ailelerin nakledilmesi konusunda hiçbir yardımları dokunmadığı gibi herhangi bir kolaylık da göstermediler.Çok sevdiğim bir atımı satmak zorunda kaldım.Ailelerin Erzincan'dan Gever'e nakledilmesi için gerekli araba ücretlerini karşılayabilecek paramız yoktu.Türkiye Kurdistan'ındaki Kürt kardeşlerimizin yardımlarını hiçbir zaman unutmam.Bize gösterdikleri sıcak ilgi, bizi korumaları unutulacak gibi değil.Fakat onlar bizden daha ağır koşullar altında yaşıyordu.Hiçbir hakları bulunmuyordu.Ağır ve kötü koşullarına rağmen yardımlarını bizden esirgemediler.Zaman zaman bizim öykülerimizi dinlediklerinde beraber göz yaşı dökerdik.Onlar için ne çok üzülürdüm."
