I enjoy studying and learning English. I'm not afraid to try something new or put myself in situations outside of my comfort zone. I have a foreign friend in Japan and I asked her to introduce me to her other foreign friends so that I could practice speaking with them. I then went to dinner with them while the were visiting from Korea and I was the only one who couldn't speak very well. I loved challenging myself to speak and appreciated their support when I couldn't think of what to say. Even to this day, I still stay in contact with them!

At my university, I was in charge of a study for my graduating study course. I was required to manage everyone's schedule and I was the lead on the project. My team consisted of a couple other university students as well as ten outside participants. I had to create their schedules on a weekly basis and ensure that it was submitted on time. In addition, I had to create a couple documents that explained the study's purpose, procedure and safety information. Along with carrying out the study, I had to be very thorough with my work and there were many strict deadlines I had to meet.


- If I face any problem, I don' focus on the difficulty rather than work on how I can resolve the problem.
- Also, if I make a mistake, I always accept someone's criticism in a positive light.
- Even if I'm not good at doing something, I challenge myself and make myself try something new.
For example, when I was giving a presentation at school, I received a lot of pointers from my peers and professor for it being too long and unclear. Instead of pitying myself, I revised it and made it much better.

My university is very from my hometown so it's quite difficult to commute on a daily basis. It's about two hours total, one-way so I believe commuting in itself requries a lot of stregnth, physically and mentally. So far, I haven't been late to anyclass and I wake up early and study late in order to excel in my studies.
