imagine a world were there is no independent thought, people have few emotions, knowledge is banned, the aspect of family is people on a screen, people don't marry for love, and yet they believe there happy. Some people will look and see a dystopian society, but to other it can be there idea of a Utopia; its all on a persons perspective and what they think is utopia. in the society Ray Bradbury created in his story Fahrenheit 451 these are all things he used to create a dystopian society. We now have knowledge and books, whereas the main character in the story, Guy Montag's , civilization doesn't; what Montag actually does for a living is he is a firemen, but unlike our firemen he burns books because that is biddable for him. If someone has never known what it is like to have knowledge then they might just like how the world is.
