Eight-and-a-Half-Tails is one of the strongest Mono-White commanders out there, yet you haven't played it. Beside Richard, you haven't even played Mono-White that much. Some EDH don't use it, just because they don't know about it. 2 mana commander, which encourages your opponent's to send removal to somewhere else, just because you have mana open is strong effect.

Eight-and-a-Half-Tails is open-ended commander. There's multiple paths to build it. I'm sure you can each build different archetypes. In mono-white table ability to make things unblockable becomes more realistic. You can give protection only for your permanents, but you can paint any permanent or spell white. If you give something pro-white, your opponent's can makeit's equipments white, so they fall off it, so sneaking damage triggers in, isn't that easy. Equipments, which grant pro-white are not going to stay attached, because somebody will paint it. Cards like All is Dust and Ugin, the Spirit Dragon can with Eight-and-a-Half-Tails get rid off lands and other colourless permanents, but because everyone is playing Eight-and-a-Half-Tails, it can backfire.

Eight-and-a-Half-Tails is overall cool commander and it has really interesting interactions with different kind of cards and with itself. Full Eight-and-a-Half-Tails table can offer different kind of experience, than what we've usually seen in Commander Clash. White is the most efficient colour at getting around protection, so finding fitting removal shouldn't be problem, even though everything is tougher to remove.
