This festival is a whole lot of fun, as it involves a lot of dancing and fast, loud groovy music. This October we decided to go to the Garden State Expo in Somerset, NJ to celebrate the festival.
That weekend around 7 pm I blasted upstairs and changed in to my beautiful Indian blue and red gown with
glitters. My parents were also dressed up in beautiful Indian attire. We all zoomed in my fast and furious
BMW and reached the destination.
On entering the venue, I was super thrilled and amazed to see so many awesomely dressed colorful people.
There were a few 100 people all geared up to dance! My parents and I met family friends. We all started to dance to the groovy music! The stage was blaring with orchestra! Many announcements were made while all
the jazzy crowd was dancing.
The music was really fast! The adults were dancing superbly fast, the kids got pushed around so the kids
made their own group! We twisted, turned, jumped! went around in circles and danced and danced till our feet hurt.
Afterwards, i checked the time on my mom's cellphone and guess what it was almost past 1 o clock. It was way past my sleeping time and I was exhausted so I asked my parents if we could go back.
A While later, I felt quite sleepy so me and my dad bounced back home
This was the BEST NIGHT EVER! Sigh!! why did it get over so soon? Nevertheless, i had a wonderful time and i look forward to visiting the festival with my family and friends next year again.
