Hey Hussain, it's been a while, I've just been thinking a lot about stuff and wanted to message you. I know it's been a long time and we've moved past everything but I just wanted to say thank you for being such an incredible friend to me last year and helping me through so much. I really do appreciate everything a lot. It still kinda bothers me that things sorta left off like that and I hate to be on bad/awkward terms with people because I did feel like we had a really good friendship going and I wanted to apologize as well. Looking back there were times were I probably led you on and that wasn't right of me at all and I'm incredibly sorry about that. I was going through a lot at the time but it doesn't excuse anything. I know it's all in the past now, but I should have been more straightforward about things and I could have handled it a lot better than I did.

I don't want you to think that I didn't appreciate it or care about the friendship though. It meant a lot to me, and you were for a while, probably one of my closest friends. I still remember just talking to you for hours and hours and having it be so easy to talk to you about almost anything. And I am really sorry if I was awkward last semester with you when I saw you in person, I didn't want to be. There was a lot I wanted to talk to you about at the time but the situation just sucked and I should have said this way sooner. It's why I didn't wanna wait any longer, and you don't have to reply or anything. I completely understand and we don't have to go back to being friends if you don't want to...but it's just something I really had to get off my chest cause it'd been bothering me for some time now. But thank you for everything again and I really do hope that you're doing well.
