- pink in acidic* > grey (end point) > green

acidified iron (II) sulfate titrated w potassium manganate (VII) -> titrant
- decolorised upon mixing
- colourless > yellow (end point) > dark pink
5Fe2+(aq) + MnO4−(aq) + 8H+(aq) → 5Fe3+(aq) + Mn2+(aq) + 4H2O(l)
acidified potassium iodide w potassium iodate (v) > titration of iodine formed w sodium thiosulfate
- h2so4 + ki -> kio3 in conical (brown)
- titrate i2 with na2s2o3 (burette) until pale yellow
- add starch -> blueblack
- continue to titrate until colourless (end point)
IO3−(aq) + 5I −(aq) + 6H+(aq) → 3I2(aq) + 3H2O(l)
I2(aq) + 2S2O32−(aq) → 2I −(aq) + S4O62−(aq)
potassium iodide w coper II sulfate -> tuitrate of iodine formed w sodium thiosulfate
- dark brown ppt
- titrate with na2s2o3 (burette) until cream colour
- add starch -> blueblack ppt
- continue to titrate until whiteish ppt (end point)
2Cu2+(aq) + 4I-(aq) → 2CuI(s) + I2(aq)
