Tujuan: Utamanya untuk perkenalan kepada para newizzy. Perkenalan ini diberikan agar newizzy dapat mempraktekkan ilmu yang sudah diberikan dalam bentuk teori. Mereka juga harus bisa mempraktekkan ilmu itu dalam kenyataan (dalam bentuk explore) sehingga dapat benar-benar dipahami. Tujuan lain, untuk membuat peserta satu dan lainnya menyayangi creature yang ada di Hogwarts. Karena sebenarnya mereka adalah creature yang harus dilindungi, dirawat, bukan dijauhi.
Storyline: Beberapa hari yang lalu, salah satu pegawai Hogwarts menerima sebuah surat dari kementrian yang berisi 'sesuatu'. Sesuatu tersebut adalah sebuah sihir hitam yang menyerang para creature. Hal ini tentu saja sangat penting bagi kelangsungan yang ada di Hogwarts, utamanya dalam Forbidden Forest, mengingat banyak creature yang tinggal di dalam sana. Sembuhkan creature itu tapi masih ada kemungkinan creature lain tertular, atau musnahkan sehingga tidak ada yang tertular? Jawaban ada di tangan peserta.
Sembuhkan: Melawan creature tersebut dengan mantra yang benar dan sesuai sampai creature dinyatakan pingsan (0 HP).
Musnahkan: Melawan creature tersebut dengan mantra yang salah dan sembarangan sampai creature dinyatakan pingsan (0 HP).

Null: Fire
Dapat dilawan oleh peserta yang bisa menjawab soal dengan benar. Karena untuk bisa melihat Thestral, kita harus terlebih dahulu melihat kematian seseorang. Sebagai gantinya, soal dibaratkan agar peserta bisa melihat creature tersebut tanpa harus melihat kematian seseorang.
