If we are fated and meant to be together, together we will be. No matter how long it might take, together we will be. Even if we encounter lots of obstacles, together we will be. People might judge and insult but together we will be. There might be a flood of tears and pain along the way but in end, together we will be.
But.
If we aren't fated or meant to be together, together we won't be. I might be waiting an eternity but together we won't be. I might be faced with lots of obstacles while trying to make it happen but together we won't be. People might judge and insult me but together we still won't be. I might be faced with a flood of tears and pain along the way but in the end, together we won't be. And in the end, I'll still be searching, still be lost, still be wandering, still be convincing myself that someday I will find you, still be living in fantasy land where my dreams can actually come true.
For a long time, I was hidden away in dream land, convinced that one day I will meet my prince. I still am. Except now I'm starting to realize that actually deep down in my heart I know that it's virtually impossible. All the odds are pointing against me, never in my favor. It hurts so much to know that my dreams will never come true but yet keep on telling myself lies to convince myself otherwise. It hurts so much to live in a fake world full of my own lies and self-assurance. I am still holding on tightly to whatever sliver of hope there is left but I'm gradually slipping everyday and the string of hope is getting shorter and thinner day by day. It really really hurts...but I cant' tell anyone. They will all laugh at me and say how stupid I am for believing. But I am stupid... I can't seem to let go of these dreams though, can't seem to forget and continue on with life. And for all that, I am truly hurting.
