Hello. Although you may not know me, I was a King for Great Britain and Ireland, I will tell you about me.
I am King George the iii, my real name is George William Frederick and I was born in London on June 4th, 1738 but people in the past thought I was born on May 24. The last ruler of Great Britain was my grandfather. What he did was When my grandfather passed away I became king. I was worried but I managed to be king and soon I married a lady. She was Charlotte Sophia of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. We soon had 15 kids. I think we had nine sons and six daughters. It was hard to keep track, considering that I was a working king.Mostly people remember me because 1. I was a king 2. I was insane for awhile. My insanity soon became very violent and I was forced to be in a straitjacket when I was going insane. Modern doctors and scientist say I had a disease that affects both the blood and my mental health state. Sadly, after awhile of being a king, people thought I was an inflexible tyrant. In other words, a very cruel king who never changes his ways. It was very hard for me to live, my mental health got in the way and people thought I was crazy. Since I was a king, I wanted people to be loyalist. They listen and respect the king. I didn’t like patriots that well because they rebelled against me. After awhile I had to raise taxes. I had to do so because of the wars (such as the 7 years) I didn’t have enough money so I needed some from the colonist. I thought it was fine so I did so. I also made the stamp act for additional war money. I raised money but I also raised issues. Some colonist didn’t enjoy paying more and started a rebellious act against me. They thought I was a very strict and cruel king. So they went in a boat and dumping at least 342 chest of tea into the water! I got upset the townshend act come into use to prevent them from dumping more tea into the water.
