Dear Mr. Trump,

First of all congratulations on your winning of the presidential elections.
Secondly,
I will not try to advise you in the aspects of how to deal with a lot of "business" problems America is facing, You are a great businessman, there's no denying that and I have no doubt You will do a great job.
However, when it comes to energy consumption and technological problems America is facing to bring clean and cheap energy to every household I have a suggestion or two and I would be really glad if you hear them out.

I will not talk about climate change because I know your stand on that topic and there's no way this little letter will change your mind, but I am not sure if You know everything there is about alternative energy sources, most importantly nuclear energy. America (and for that matter the rest of the world) has been using uranium 238 as a fuel to make nuclear energy, ever since Manhattan project uranium 238 has been a great pick because the "waste" product of fission of uranium 238 is plutonium. Naturally uranium 238 was a great pick because plutonium is great for making nuclear warheads, even thought the process of gaining energy from uranium is very risky (numerous nuclear disasters have happened with uranium 238 power plant) and it leaves a lot of radioactive waste.
Alternatively there is Thorium! Thorium which is more abundant than Uranium, Thorium which has no safety risks because it doesn't need 70 bars of atmospheric pressure to start the processes of making energy and countless safety protocols if something goes wrong. I will leave you a short, 5 minute clip of liquid fluoride thorium reactor and i encourage You, Mr. Trump to look it up if You didn't already know about Thorium. Here is the link:

China is already considering and researching Thorium nuclear reactors.
Solar, wind etc. etc. is great but it's nowhere near good as Thorium nuclear reactors, and it would be a shame if China jumped on "Thorium train" and leave America on obsolete forms of energies.

Would you invest in steam engines? Of course not because they are obsolete, and so are the fossil fuels! I'm not sure if You are lobbied by oil companies or You aren't informed enough about new forms of energies and I don't blame you, You dedicated your life as businessman and there's no way a hardworking person like yourself could inform themself about everything new that's going on because there's simply not enough time in your busy life.
