ذَلِكَ بِأنَّ اللَّهَ مَوْلَی الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَأنَّ الْكَافِرِينَ لا مَوْلَی لَهُمْ
that is because Allah is the protector of those who believe, and the disbelievers have no protector. The believers’ dignity, honour, and triumph is due to the fact that they helped God’s Religion, as a consequence of which they enjoyed protection. His heart is the home of love and friendship toward God and it is through his faith, piety, and helping God’s Religion that such great bounty has fallen to his share.
