Unsur-unsur drama
1. Tema adalah ide pokok atau gagasan utama sebuah cerita drama
2. Alur yaitu jalan cerita dari sebuah pertunjukkan drama mulai babak pertama hingga babak terakhir
3. Tokoh drama atau pelaku drama terdiri dari tokoh utama dan tokoh pembantu. Tokoh utama atau peran utama disebut primadona sedangkan peran pembantu disebut figuran
4. Watak adalah perilaku yang diperankan oleh tokoh drama. Watak protagonis adalah watak (periku) baik yang diperankan oleh tokoh drama, contohnya : penyabar, kasih sayang, santun, pemberani, pembela yang lemah, baik hati dan sebagainya. Sedangkan watak antagonis adalah watak (perilaku) jahat yang
diperankan oleh tokoh drama, contohnya : sifat iri dan dengki, kejam, penindas dan sebagainya
5 Latar atau setting adalah gambaran tempat, waktu dan situasi peristiwa dalam cerita drama
6. Amanat drama adalah pesan yang ingin disampaikan pengarang kepada penonton. Amanat drama atau pesan disampaikan
melalui peran para tokoh drama.
