To celebrate and consolidate our theme for this term, this year we are producing a nativity which includes a castle. We also have a number of main character parts which have an emphasis on castle life such as a king, a queen a prince and princess, servants, jesters and minstrels. As well as these main parts we will have the familiar members of the nativity cast. The children are performing the story as a group and all parts are important.
We are fortunate to have a bank of costumes for some of our characters however we will also need the following items for our cast members:
The Royal Family
Pale tights/leggings/ trousers and daps.
Plain white/ light t-shirt
The Servants, Jesters and Minstrels
Dark tights/leggings/ trousers and daps.
Plain dark t-shirt
The Innkeepers
A Plain white t- shirt and an old white sheet and sandals/ daps.
Shepherds and Kings
Sandals or daps
Angels
White dress or a long white t-shirt/ pillow case.
White tights/bottom ballets slippers or pumps.
Mary, Joseph and Donkey
Sandals or daps
Please can you provide this clothing by Monday 3rd December in a named plastic bag to enable us to complete our costumes in the following week? Please note we will return the t-shirts but the pillow cases will be printed on. Do not worry if they have logos/prints on because we can turn them inside out. If you have any problems do not hesitate to come and speak to us.
If you are able to help with making props or costumes please let us know as soon as possible. Thank you in advance.
