Arti/ definisi debat :
Debat adalah proses komunikasi lisan yang dinyatakan dengan bahasa untuk mempertahankan pendapat. Setiap pihak yang berdebat akan menyatakan argumen, memberikan alasan dengan cara tertentu agar pihak lawan berdebat atau pihak lain yang mendengarkan perdebatan itu menjadi yakin dan berpihak padanya.
Aturan- aturan dalam berdebat (dari Miss Sarrah) :
1. Mengeluarkan sesuai dengan topik pembahasan
2. Menggunakan kata-kata yang sesuai (sopan, sesuai topik, dan mudah di mengerti lawan debat)
3. tidak ada kontak fisik
4. Yang pasti adalah JUJUR ( karna itu sifat candor)
