Notes

1. HSS Breadths are listed on ERP and run in the D and G slots. These slots can not be changed. Students may please consult the Departmental Time Table for the next Semester and exercise their choices. Atleast one slot D or G should be kept free by the Department to enable students to take the HSS breadth. HSS Breadths should be taken only from the list of subjects put up under the HSS banner. Random allocation will be made to students who do not exercise their choices.
2. Management Breadths are listed on ERP. The central Time Table has earmarked C & F slots for the Management Breadths. Thus, Departments whose students come under the purview of Management Breadths must have atleast E or F slot free to enable the students to take the same. Students can take only those subjects as Management Breadths which are listed under the Mangement banner. Random allocation will be made to students who do not exercise their choices.
3. Professional Breadths are listed on ERP. The Central Time Table has earmarked E, F and U slots for Professional Breadths. Students may please consult the Departmental Time Table to know their free slots and exercise their Breadth Choices accordingly. For professional breadths, the student is not bound by the list. Subject to availability a student, irrespective of his/her level or discipline of study, may take a subject including an M.Tech. subject as a professional breadth or if the teacher permits, the pre-requistes are satisfied and if there is no time table clash. No professional breadth allocation will be made for students who do not exercise their options or provide inadequate options. Such students MUST choose a subject on their own at the time of Pre-Registration.
