A. what it was like/B. what happened/C. what is it like today

A. I was born in Canada. I had a very normal upbringing with a brother and a sister/mom and dad. Being born in1957 I only caught the tail end of the tumultuous 60's. The 70's were more fun anyway. 60's were angry/there were protests/even riots and the 70's were free love and "lets party". SDRR.
I graduated high school in 74 with other august alumni in this room and we had not really kicked up too much fuss. I was stoned more than the average bear but in my mind I didn't drink I used drugs. I didn't ever feel I had a problem. I went off to college to ski and party, and that I did. Our parents did't coddle us and for sure didn't micromanage so moving me in was UPSing a trunk and sending us to school. Im gregarious but not really social. As luck would have it (good or bad) my dorm mates were real consumpters as was everyone, and I learned my way.

Let me digress say that I for me it didn't matter if I fell into a crowd into the wild crowd 1975, 1935 or in 2000, it didn't matter. Substances have an effect on me brain. The question for me is and my post college years was when would I die or when did I go too far and end up looking for these rooms.
There are a few questions that will always go unanswered. OK some of you have seen the new about the guy who has had an after death experience. He's a doctor for christsake so he KNOWS. Write a book about it and he's an expert. Life after death is a basic mystery.

It's 1976, Im a junior in college. In Wednesday night, hump day, DUH, and as I'm Foofing and Poofing in the back of my head I'm plotting how am I gonna find the ludes and or coke and be able to really rock. I distinctly remember that that was going to be a hugh factor in the success of that night. I really didn't think I who have as much fun, or this one is really deep, my friends would like that person who was high, uninhibited, funny, confident - should I really go on? We could go all night like this. Jimmy said 30 to 40 minutes. We could go around the room and ask a one word description of what you felt changed high from sober. I truly believe that when it all shakes down we have one. Just like my first mystery question this one will always go unanswered. What were we looking for that we didthought we got using so we kept doing it.
