Hierbij wil ik graag mijn stem uitbrengen op Els Bressers uit Middelbeers als Brabander van het jaar 2012.
Els doet niet alleen geweldige dingen voor mensen met een beperking, ze doet dat ook vol overgave en met een aanstekelijk enthousiasme. De titel past haar als een handschoen, want ze is een echte Brabantse, hartelijk, gemoedelijk en een groot gevoel voor gemeenschapszin.
