Hard Moral Decision how has it shaped you?

At Fork Union Military Academy a cadet is faced with many decisions, and many of these will effect where you go to college and where you go afterward also. These decisions have the ability to completely and fundamentally change the way you view the world. While being a leader I have faced difficult situations that not many people my age have had the opportunity to face.
When I was a platoon leader there was an international cadet living on my hallway who was having a lot of trouble conforming to the rules and regulations of FUMA. I asked the head of international development if I could take him on as an additional mentee. It was difficult to take time out of my schedule to help him, however I knew it could prove to benefit a life. It took about two months of spending time with him, especially on the weekends, playing catch up on English and his other class work, until his grades began to rise and his conduct began to improve. Being that I had spent so much time helping this cadet I was very proud of his accomplishments, and he began making American friends.
After around 4 months of mentoring this cadet, he had been a model cadet. I had often used him as an example of how a stellar cadet is expected to behave.
