Long hexagonal shapes- Onion

-Onion seemed to have many cells compared to the cheek cell. This could be because the cheek cell wasn't a huge sample or that an onion has more cells. The Onion also formed a hexagonal pattern; the cheek had neither
-The onion seemed to have a more regular pattern. This could be due to the fact that onions are big compared to our cheeks, or that the cheek cell was part of a human.
-I was able to see both the nucleus and vacuole in both the cheek sample and the onion. This is most likely because the nucleus and vacuole are very large compared to the other organelles.
-No, the mitochondrian can be present in the cell. Just because you can't actually see the mitochondrian does not mean that it is not there. You can't see the DNA in a cell but it's a real thing. The mitochondrian is in the cell, but it's most likely not big enough to see at the magnification of the microscope.
-No, there was not any chloroplast visible in the onion cell. This could be because it is hard to see without the onion being colored, or the onion could lack chloroplast. It could also be because onions grow below the ground and the leaves are the part that's acually doing photosynthesis to produce chloroplast.
