Tarih alanında Türk Tarih Cemiyetini kurmuştur. Böylesi kurum ve kuruluşları kurmaktaki tek amacı kültürü ayakta tutabilmektir. Atatürk'ün kurduğu bu kurumlar hala bugünde kaldığı yerden görevini yerine getirmektedir.
Atatürk'ün bu bize bıraktığı güzel kültür mirasını da bize korumak düşer. Ayrıca milli kültür olmadan bağımsız olunmayacağını çok iyi bilen Mustafa Kemal milli kültüre yaptığı katkılardan dolayı bir kez daha teşekkürü borç biliriz.
