I feel like I am trapped, in a dark room, with the door is locked. I am screaming for help, and banging on the door as loud as I can, making my hands bruise. But no one is listening, and no matter how loud I scream or how much I bang, no one is coming to save me. I've lost track of what day it is, or what the time is. I am starting to get so used to the darkness that life without it seems so scary. I can hear people outside the door, talking and laughing, and I'm screaming for help, yet they choose to ignore me. So I've given up screaming, and I let the darkness consume me because I have nothing else. The moment I give up, the door opens, and in comes the one person I've waited for, they are crying, and saying how much they love me. Yet how can someone love me when they were right outside the door the whole time and they knew I was screaming for help, but they chose not to listen, because it's easier to ignore the signs, rather than looking for them. I showed so many signs of being trapped and wanting to be found, but when I gave up showing people I needed help, they started listening, it was too late and I'm sorry.
