You will develop a blog using one of the following blog websites: Weebly, Blogger, Wix, WordPress, or any other blogging website of your choice. The website should have five individual tab pages and a contact page. Each page is worth 60 points equaling a total of 300 points. Enclosed is a website rubric in which your components of your blog will be graded. The five pages consist of a (a) home page, (b) the infograph page, (c)the five exceptional women page,(d) perspectives of women, (e) overview of course and finally your contact page (please use your pgcps.org email address).

Home Page: The home page is your creative piece. YOU design your home page the way you want to. Make sure you initial page is attractive and grabs everyone’s attention. Plan your home page carefully because it will be the highlight of your website.

Infograph Page: An infograph is a pictorial poster that serves two purposes, first the infograph is a graphic poster that uses pictures and words that is attractive but yet informative. Secondly, the graphic poster doesn’t flood the viewer with too much information. The poster should catch the viewer’s attention without being distracting. You are to go to Canva.com, create an account, once you have your account design your infograph poster. Your poster should be about a woman you admire, a woman you would like to be, a prominent woman from history, or any woman we have studied in the Bluebook. On your infograph poster, you must have a picture or pictures of the woman you picked, some facts about the woman, your poster should be designed to be eye catching and informative. Once you have designed your infrograph you must save it as a jpeg picture to upload onto your blog. That is the only thing that should be on this page on your blog.

Five Exceptional Women: You will complete a blog page on at least 5 women you have studied in Women’s Studies and/or are in the Blue Book. You must cover all of the following information.
Who was she?
Why was she important especially during the era in which she lived?
What was the goal she was trying to achieve for Women’s rights?
Would the world be different if she had not been born, or stood up for Women’s rights? How or how not?
Why was she so distinguishing to you? (what made you want to choose her)

Perspectives of Women: How have the perspectives of women changed? You are to pick a decade of time example 1970 to 1980. Within the decade years you picked, pick three different years, for instance 1972, 1975, and 1980 and you compare the women that lived in those years to women in
2017. You can set your page up to include pictures of women from the years you chose to make your page relevant, description of the lives of women, the roles of women during that time, how women were portrayed by men, and compare them to women today; how are their lives different today? Give details in order to support your perspectives.

Overview of Course: This page is the overview of the Woman’s Studies course. You discuss what you like about Women’s Studies, what did you learn about the history of Women, how has it changed your perspective about women, their influence on humanity, and how have women influenced the change in their status since the beginning of the colonial times.
