since i got in as mayor in 2008 we have paved 3 city street, put lights on exit 38,put a new fence entrance for the encinal cemetery with flag pole,fix and clean up our disposable sites turn it into dog pound,we got 3 acres donated to converted into a city park we are in phase 1 off the city park which will have a splash pad,walking trail,baseball field, swing,slides,barbecue pits,parking areas,we have already fix the entrance to the park the name of the park is going to be Rosalie Sullivan Park. another item that i almost forgot was Road Ranger a new truck stop. we have converted our old city hall into where the elderly meet to play bingo and do art and craft and also we got donated to city of encinal was school bus from C.S.A. in order to take the elderly once a month to laredo to see their doctor or grocery shopping. we are putting sidewalk on some city street as we speak. i was a committee that build a brand new parking areas for the school bus with a roof for our school kids. now to my pride and joy our NEW CITY HALL which i call my baby going on 3 years and my city staff which i cannot thank them enough, when i got in as mayor were my goals. two person that i want to thank is Ashley Eddington our city consultant and Velma Davila our city manager with that i thank you............
